Hello Helen Tyson Parents,
We have some exciting events coming up in February.
Tomorrow the 4th, we have our Spring pictures.
This Thursday the 6th, we will be having our HTMS Family Night from 6:00-7:30pm. Please join us for exciting things with Math, Science, Technology, ELA, Social Studies, Art, EAST, and Fine Arts. Come see our booths and interact with our teachers on related subjects of interest to your child's learning. Fliers were sent home today in Monday folders.
Then on February 7th, we have our Valentines Dance from 3:30-5:00; We would LOVE some volunteers to celebrate valentines with 6th and 7th graders.
We also have on February 13th, our Bagels for Beauties in the Library on at 7:00 am.
Later that day, our 7th graders will travel to SWJH for a feeder school Pep Rally
Finally on the 28th, we have a Broadway Production of the LION KING jr. at 6:30pm in our cafeteria for a small fee.

We enjoyed having Mr. Paul Prater speak to our seventh grade students at Helen Tyson about Arkansas History as well as adding a little magic and making history come to life.
